Welcome to Arcadia Lodge, a cherished family-owned getaway since 1991, with roots dating back to 1922. Nestled on the picturesque shores of Big Turtle Lake, our 29 unique cabins combine rustic charm with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay for every family member. Arcadia Lodge offers a wide range of weekly activities for the whole family. Each week during the summer we have planned activities Monday - Thursday. Enjoy Bingo Night, Tye Dye T-Shirts, Tubing, Bouncy House & Obstacle Course, Donut Day, Make Your Own T-Shirt, Arts & Crafts and so much more! All activities are included for kids!
Our resort activities include the huge floating playground, sandy beach & swimming area, paddle boards, canoes & pontoon paddle boats. We also have a volleyball and basketball court! The resort activities are available to all guests and are included with your cabin rental. No need to carry your wallet around day to day, simply enjoy your vacation!

Fishing Boats
Our fleet offers 20 pontoons ranging from small 4 - 6 passengers options to the largest and newest Grand islands capable of floating 14+ passengers. Or choose from a dozen fishing boats, from the standard 14' with 15 hp motors to the huge 18.5' Alumacraft with 115 hp we have a boat to fit your needs. Fuel and life jackets are included with all pontoon & fishing boat rentals!
Big Turtle Lake

With 2,000 acres of Sky Blue Water to explore and enjoy Big Turtle is an amazing Lake. Over 21 miles of lakeshore, half of which is undeveloped, 9 islands and numerous bays offer days of pontoon cruises, hidden fishing spots & endless watersports! Big Turtle Lake has a max depth of 150' and is spring fed. This along with the water clarity of +15' keeps the lake cool and clean perfect for swimming and Bass fishing.

Resort Amenities
Here at Arcadia we strive to include amenities in the cabin rental instead of charging guests extra for every little thing. Regardless of the cabin or summer week chosen all of our guests enjoy the same amenities and activities. The goal has been to build an all inclusive vacation making your trip as simple and easy has possible. Does your group own their own boats? Bring them with we have enough docking to handle over 40 guest watercraft. Unlike many resorts that would charge you for extra dock slips we don't! Does your group like an evening campfire or maybe the occasional bonfire? Firewood is provided for all 20+ firepits available at Arcadia. Even if your bringing your own self contained firepit we will provide the firewood so you don't have to buy overpriced bundles or haul it from home. Do your kids want to take the paddle boats out to do some fishing? Don't worry about checking one out, just grab one and go. Same with paddle boards and canoes!

Reservations @ Arcadia Lodge
We have kept the reservation process old school. No automated booking software trapping you in the endless AI loop when you try to ask a question. No algorithm surging the price on busy dates. Arcadia Lodge is a family run business. Our rates for the following year are always set by September 1st of the previous year and we honor them! To find availability for a cabin or week there are 2 options. The first is to email or call directly, ArcadiaLodge1922@gmail.com / 218-832-3852. Kylie handles all cabin reservations and will answer any questions you have. It is best to include in your email or phone call details such as group size, preferred cabin or cabin size, and the dates that work best for you. With 29 cabins over a 14 week summer season if you ask "what's available" it will be a very long email that's probably not to much help. The 2nd option (and the best) is to fill out the Check Availability Form here on the website. This will send all of the needed details to Kylie and she will return an email to you with what's available.
When it's time to make your reservation you will print, fill out and send in the reservation form along with a deposit to hold the cabin. We are old school enough to still prefer a check for the deposit and cabin payment but we can run a credit/debit card if you prefer (there is a 3% fee on ALL card transactions).
